Minnesota Lake Superior Coastal Program 306 Program Boundary
Abstract:
Section 306 program boundary for Minnesota's Lake Superior Program (MLSCP). This layer displays the area eligible for Section 306 funding trough MLSCP's annual grant cycle. Please see mndnr.gov/waters/lakesuperior for more information about the MLSCP Section 309 grant programs. This project was funded in part under the Coastal Zone Management Act, by NOAA's Office of Ocean and Coastal Resources Management, in conjunction with Minnesota's Lake Superior Coastal Program.

To aid in the management of Minnesota's Lake Superior Coastal Program (MLSCP).

Currentness Reference:
The layer was last updated to include the water of Lake Superior using the State of Minnesota boundary (bdry_statepy2) and 1:24k Digital Raster Graphic(map_drg024im3)in July of 2006. On the landward side, PLS Town-Range Boundaries (pls_twpshpy3) were used with the exception of the Duluth area where DOT Basemap Roads (road_dotln3) were used to match the Western Lake Superior Sanitary District boundary.
