| Lineage | The following two polygon coverages were combined with the ARC command, 'union.'
The item 'aqclass' was added to the polygon attribute table of the resulting coverage, and given the value of 'K' for all polygons with a 'unit_code' designation beginning with 'K.' 'unit_code' is one of the attributes in the MGS' bedrock geology coverage, and all unit_code values that begin with 'K' refer to Cretaceous units. All other polygons (except for "island" polygons - see Entity and Attribute Information, below) were designated 'P,' - Precambrian. The coverage was dissolved on the item 'aqclass' to create 'br50.' |
