Kinnickinnic River Land Trust

You can always put your money to good use.

The Kinnickinnic River, which flows through River Falls, is one of the premier trout streams of western Wisconsin. When suburban development threatened the stream, alarmed trout fishermen and other river lovers put their money where their values were. They organized the Kinnickinnic River Land Trust to buy development easements and work with landowners to protect riparian lands. The money they are contributing and spending through the land trust is a direct expression of the value of the aesthetic and recreational benefits of the Kinnickinnic.
